SE’s “Final Fantasy 16” large game DLC “The Rising Tide of the Sea” will be launched on April 18 for $20.

March 23, it was reported that Square Enix announced today that the second large DLC of “Final Fantasy 16”, “The Rising Tide of the Sea”, will be launched on April 18, and the free update of version 1.30 of the game itself will be launched simultaneously.

The “The Rising Tide of the Sea” DLC is priced at $20 separately, and players can also spend $25 to buy the “Final Fantasy 16” DLC season pass, which includes the “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide of the Sea” DLCs.

The official introduction of the “The Rising Tide of the Sea” DLC is as follows:

A letter without any markings was sent to the hiding place, with a peculiar request in it: the ruler of Leviathan, the long-lost Eikon of Water, needs to be rescued.

In response to this call, the protagonist Clive and his companions must go to Missidia – the hidden place under the blue sky, where they will uncover the tragic history of a forgotten nation.

The “The Rising Tide of the Sea” DLC raises the level cap for players in the story mode and the focused action mode to 60, and to 110 in the Final Fantasy mode. This DLC also gives the protagonist Clive a new set of aquatic Eikon abilities, and in terms of the later content of the game, additional challenges and leaderboards can be found in the “Door of Revelation”.
