Capcom announces that “Dragon’s Dogma 2” has sold more than 2.5 million copies

On April 2, it was reported that Capcom recently announced that after the game “Dragon’s Dogma 2” was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC platforms on March 22, the total global sales have exceeded 2.5 million copies, and the cumulative sales of the “Dragon’s Dogma” series have exceeded 10 million copies.

In the announcement, Capcom said:

The “Dragon’s Dogma” series is an action game set in a fantasy background, where players can adventure in the expansive open world of swords and magic.

Since Capcom released “Dragon’s Dogma” in 2012, this series of games has been widely praised worldwide, with cumulative sales exceeding 10 million copies.

“Dragon’s Dogma 2” is an action game released 12 years after the original. The game is set in a vast open world with high freedom.

Players in the game can enjoy the finely crafted and realistic fantasy scene, and at the same time experience the fun of teaming up for adventures with up to four people. And because of the presence of AI-controlled chess pieces as traveling companions, players can also play single-player games.

“Dragon’s Dogma 2” is an action role-playing game. This work inherits the worldview of the sequel to “Dragon’s Dogma” in early 2012, but the stage of the adventure is different. It is one of the parallel worlds before. The game was officially released on March 22 and landed on the PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / PC (Steam) platform.
